Aligns Full Stacks of Pallets From Top to the Bottom

A common warehouse problem is having empty and loose CHEP or Stringer pallets cluttered around your loading dock. This isn't only an aesthetic problem it's also a safety problem and an operational inefficiency. Unstable pallet stacks need to be squared up prior to lifting or placing them into over the door dock racks.

This rack system is intended for use over dock doors, and is used primarily for storing empty pallets and light, bulky shipping supplies. This rack must be designed for each individual application, and requires an architect or structural engineer to review the building's walls.
Straighten Up to 19 pallets within seconds

Companies using pallets have many problems to contend with. At the top of the list are issues of storage. Once delivered to a business and unloaded, an empty pallet requires storage space. It's not uncommon for large businesses to store hundreds or thousands of pallets. The pallet columns need to be maintained in a straight and orderly fashion. Keeping a Pallet Wedge near the pallet stacks the operator can straighten and square the misaligned pallets, prior to stacking them outside or straighten them prior to sending them to the production or manufacturing area.

Wedge design aligns pallets front to back and side to side

Trailer trucks deliver pallets from CHEP Rental Pools. Pallets are shipped loose and stacks may have shifted in transit. Unstable pallets are dangerous to move around within the warehouse if not in straight columns. The Pallet Wedge will straighten and square the misaligned pallets front to back and side by side, after receiving them from the rental pool or before the return trip back to the rental pool.

When using recycled or repaired pallets the quality of the pallets can be less-than-perfect. Some pallets have raised nails or loose boards but The Pallet Wedge will straighten and square the misaligned pallets, front to back and side by side.

Products that are delivered on a CHEP pallet to a company who is not on the CHEP program can remove and return the CHEP pallet immediately using a pallet exchange machine The Pallet Wedge is a great tool to straighten pallets before placing them in trailers prior to returning them back to the rental pool.
A national Foodservice provider outfits every regional distribution center with pallet inverting equipment and Pallet Tunnels. This allows the employees to convert product to an in house pallet for storage in there AS/RS system. The automatic storage and retrieval system is 30 bays high with over 30,000 pallet positions. It is critical that the pallets traveling in and out of this system be consistent, rackable, and free of broken boards. Pallets can be sorted in a pallet inverter by turning the stack on its side and removing bad pallets. Additional pallets can be added by hand or with the aid of a forklift. Pallets then can be squared by driving the load into the Pallet Wedge that straightens and squares the misaligned pallets, front to back and side by side.
